: Just found a piece of software/documentation about how to support
: EGS/CyberGraphX... It's on AmiNet:
:
: gfxstuff141.lha dev/misc 43K How to support GFX Boards for
: games/demo
:
:
: Perhaps something to look into for demo/game-programmers. The package is
: compiled by John Hendrix so it should be quite serious, looked that way
: when I looked at the documentation anyways.
No. It was compiled by *me*. The functions are ripped out of the GFX Board sublibraries of rtgmaster.library (where John Hendrikx is the main programmer, but i am responsible about the GFX Board code...) But of course this stuff is SUPPORTED by John Hendrikx...
This stuff was released, because rtgmaster.library is still a bit away from release (in fact, the quite buggy Screenmoderequester has to be recoded completely, and that takes time...). As i said it is simply code ripped out of my rtgEGS.library and my rtgCGX.library... but we will finish the first version of rtgmaster.library hopefully soon...
to clear everything :
idea, library design, coding of rtgmaster.library and ECS/AGA Support Sublibrary : John Hendrikx
EGS and CyberGraphX support Library : Me
Picasso II support Library : Hans-Joerg Frieden
There maybe will also be work on AGX, Graffiti and Merlin Versions in the future... for other Boards, we are still looking for coders...
After the initial release, we probably will add c2p (for ECS/AGA) algorithms and some 3D stuff to the library...
